This month’s working bee is earlier than usual because of Christmas. There will be quite a lot of pruning and tidying up of plants this month, and the usual weeding and mulching. Please being your own weeders, secateurs, gloves, bucket etc.

Celebrating 10 years of the Tasmanian Native Garden at Mowbray

 

Hakea decurrens - a hardy plant and good bird attracter.

Lomatia tinctoria, guitar plant, is endemic to Tasmania and the bright yellow Chrysocephalum apiculatum, common everlasting, is hardy and provides colour for a long period in a garden.
