Heritage Forest Tasmanian Native Plant Garden - working bee

  • Tasmanian Native Plant Garden Carswell Street Mowbray, TAS, 7250 Australia (map)

Contact: Suzanne Talbot

We need as many helpers as possible for this working bee which is 1 week earlier than usual, due to Anzac Day being on the 4th Thursday.

There are 2 important jobs to do, as well as the usual weeding etc.

  1. 30 new plants to be planted in gaps around the garden, and

  2. Installing 57 new plant labels. This involves strong muscles to hammer the stakes in position and careful fine motor skills to glue labels to the stakes.

This should be a very rewarding activity, so we hope you can come along and join in the fun.

Please being your own weeders, secateurs, gloves, bucket etc.

Morning tea will be provided.
