Size: to 4 m H
Leaves: Narrow, to 5 cm long, tapering to a sharp point
Flowers: Cream to yellow in a spherical head. Two to four heads together in the angle between stem and leaf.
Flowering Time: Spring.
Fruit: Short, flat pod, constricted between seeds.

Habitat/distribution: Usually associated with water courses and surrounding slopes. Endemic to Tasmania. Several populations in and near Midlands.
Where to See: Royal George Rd, Lake Leake Rd.
Other notes: Not widely grown. Adaptable but requiring moist soil. Propagate from seed.
