Flowering Time: Spring/summer
Habitat/distribution: Rare, restricted to gentle to moderately steep slopes on mudstone in the Meehan Range near Hobart, from sea level to 200m.

Size: Small to medium subalpine tree, 10-20m, or taller in lower sites to 50m H

Habitat/distribution: Locally common on the Central Plateau and mountains of the south and west between 750-1,200m.
