Size: 3-10m H, 2-6m W.
Leaves: Ovate to elliptical, 5-10cm long, stalked and toothed, with veins indented on upper and prominent on lower surface. Lower surface covered with dense white hairs.
Flowers
: Small cream to greenish brown, in dense terminal clymes u to 20cm long.
Flowering Time: Spring
Fruit: A three-celled capsule.

Habitat/distribution: Moist areas on margins of fern gullies and streams.
Where to See: Common throughout Tasmania.
Other notes: Frost hardy. Propagate from seed or cuttings of firm young growth.
